UK: Two of Carrier Transicold’s longest serving network service partners – Robson Refrigeration and CB Transport Refrigeration – have relocated to improved facilities.
Robson Refrigeration, which trades as Carrier Transicold East & North Yorkshire, has spent more than £1m on a new 1,100m2 workshop near Hull, which is four times larger than its previous site and based close to the Humber Bridge and A63, which links Leeds and Hull.
It has also taken delivery of the first two of five new service vans for its mobile engineers planned this year, recruited additional support staff and taken on a new engineering apprentice to bolster its team.
“We have been planning this move for a number of years to help us meet the demands of our growing customer base,” said Robson Refrigeration MD Colin Robson. “This workshop will help us deliver a step up in performance for our customers, along with a safe, efficient, and temperature-controlled working environment for our team.”
Elsewhere in the network, CB Transport Refrigeration, which trades as Carrier Transicold Northwest, East Midlands & West Midlands, has relocated its East Midlands base to a modern new facility in Northampton.
